KISS Deaf

Keep It Simple, Silly-- these designs simply show the word "deaf" in various ways. It started because I wanted some small stickers to replace the "slash-over-ear" design previously used to show a person is deaf. That slashed symbol really means "don't" not "can't" so it ends up saying "don't hear" instead of "can't hear." The design is available on T-shirts, buttons, magnets and a pillow.

meh

I learned a new (to me) word, meh. And lipreading that immediately came to mind. Some days are just like this... caution the folks around you when the only response you can make to "how are you?" is "meh." http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/meh.
